The 8th grade advanced science class spent the last week creating tests, using physical or chemical properties, that could be used to identify 4 liquids. The students were then given an unknown liquid that they had to identify using their tests. A few groups had some extra time, so they had some fun running a couple of their tests on known liquids. And made a little mess in the process. :-)
