Dear Students, Parents, and Staff of Wagoner High School,

I could not be more excited to be the new Principal of Wagoner High School. It is with great enthusiasm that I join this wonderful school district, known for its commitment to academic excellence, personal growth, and community spirit.
I was born and raised in Tahlequah, Oklahoma where I graduated from Tahlequah High School in 2000 and attended Northeastern State University on a golf scholarship. I received my bachelors degree in education in 2005. After 10 years in education, I decided I wanted to be a building leader and enrolled at Southern Nazarene University and received my masters in Educational Leadership in 2018.
My journey as an educator, spanning 18 years, in various roles, has shaped my approach to leadership. I firmly believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Prior to joining Wagoner High School, I had the privilege of serving as an administrator in both elementary and secondary levels in both large and small school districts. These experiences have instilled in me a passion for educational innovation and equity of each student.
As we move into this new academic year together, my priority is to build upon the rich legacy of Wagoner High School, working collaboratively with students, parents, faculty, and the broader community. Together, we will continue to uphold the values of academic rigor, integrity, and compassion that define our school.
Thank you for the warm welcome I have already received. I am eager to begin this journey with you all and to contribute to the continued success of Wagoner High School.

Respectfully,
Harold Ray Pinney
Principal
Wagoner High School
